GET THE LOOK
I am spent. I don’t know what it is, maybe I’m working too hard but I feel totally and completely wiped of all energy. I don’t normally take naps but I’ve taken to taking midday naps every Saturday and Sunday. Then of course I spent most of this past weekend binge watching Queen Sugar, the second season of The Get Down, and of course Dear White People. I’m not sure how my brain absorbed so much television but it did. The muscles in my left lower back hurt and so do my shoulders and my right thumb. Being a physical therapist can be very physically demanding. My body let me know that I needed an effing rest. Sometimes I don’t listen. But the older I get the harder it is to ignore so I did nothing this weekend. I am in some kind of suspended hibernation and I know I need a vacation.
Thank goodness I have one planned in the next two weeks. LA, I’m coming for ya. Thus, I’ve been stocking up on the perfect LA wardrobe which is such a fun and pleasantly time-consuming past time. Zara has really been popping lately. I mean I actually look forward to their editorial emails. This top was one I bought along with another recently. I already told you all I don’t like the color red but here I am in a red top! I love the material and how it provides some texture with the silky skirt. I’m super excited to be heading to Los Angeles. It’s my first time going and I am in desperate need of steady sunshine. It will also be my birthday. What I’m looking forward to the most is relaxing and unplugging in Joshua Tree. No cell service, no TV’s, just me, my girls and the desert. Oh yeah and a soaking tub deep enough for 3 people and a hot tub under the stars.

Your outfit has a real Caribbean feel to it. When are you leaving on the plane or a cruise? 🙂 Enjoy your island hopping vacation.
Oh and fabulous color combination of the pumpkin, olive, and those great shoes!
