I was looking for fashion blogs that aren’t “I promote me, so you should promote me, too! (a thousand pop-ups)!” or “I wear jeans every day but different tops and shoes. I know fashion!”

I was looking for fashion outside the standard barrage of white women promoting the same things. I love more than “a pop” of color in my wardrobe and the blogs don’t have what I want.

I was looking for people who don’t have a huge following, who are successfully doing what they love because they love it, not because it gets them endorsements or makes them money, or mega-stardom.
