Gueras Fatim in the Tuileries

Before going to Paris, I had my heart set on working with an up and coming designer. I scoured instagram and came across Gueras Fatim, a women’s wear line founded by designer Fatoumata Guirassy in 2015. I fell head over heels in love with her clean yet unique aesthetic and we began chatting on Instagram and later connected in Paris. She had just launched her latest collection on September 25th and I was lucky to shoot a few of her pieces. She was also very kind enough to hand make me a custom top as well. She has so much attention to details, hand painting her logos and stitching everything in her studio. I predict in the next few years her brand will be a household name.
